We are delighted to be staging our first exhibition at the Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin, entitled “What If: A Change of Perspective.” With this exhibition, we want to encourage people to abandon existing patterns of thinking and behavior in relation to sustainable construction and to allow new perspectives to emerge. The opening will take place on the evening of December 12, 2025. The exhibition will then be open until January 28, 2026. It is bilingual and aimed at anyone interested in sustainability in planning and construction. Admission is free.
“We want to invite people to return to the core of sustainable architecture – combined with the question of what makes good buildings and neighborhoods where people feel comfortable, that are affordable and at the same time offer answers to the most pressing climate issues,” says Dr. Christine Lemaitre, Managing Director of the DGNB, describing the conceptual approach of the exhibition. “That sounds trivial, but it isn't, because we have forgotten how to question established practices. We need a change of perspective, which is what we want to encourage all visitors to do.”
