PHOTO AND CONTACT DETAILS
The basics:
A picture says a thousand words. Make sure you upload a recent photo of yourself and use your actual name to show that you’re interested in interacting with others. If you want other users to get in touch, you should also include an email address, a telephone number or both. Other essential details for your myDGNB profile (such as your organisation and current position there) will be asked about when you set up your account.
Other information will be added automatically by the DGNB system. This applies to employees of DGNB member organisations and anyone who is involved in a DGNB committee or has received a title from the DGNB Academy. Such information will be shown in your profile without you having to do anything.
Once you’ve registered on the myDGNB website, you can edit your own profile at any time. To make changes, click on the arrow next to your profile picture (top right) and select Edit profile.
ADD A SHORT DESCRIPTION
Professional info, personal info
The key part of your profile is the short description, which is a golden opportunity to capture people’s imagination. What makes you stand out as an individual within the context of sustainable building? Also, include some important milestones from your career to date. Tell other myDGNB users what drives and inspires you. This kind of information is important because even though we share interests and the common goal of making buildings and the property industry more sustainable, we’re all on a unique journey. So by sharing, we all stand benefit from one another.

A useful add-on if you’re looking for someone specific:
Write something in the I offer box about the services you provide. What’s your key area of expertise? What services or products do you offer that could be useful for others interested in sustainable building? What kind of customers are you interested in supporting?
You can use the I’m looking for box to find the right people. What kind of partnerships or services do you need for your work? What kind of customers are you looking for?
